Green Drinks Monterey is a monthly opportunity for professionals in the field of sustainability to network and discover new business opportunities.

Green Drinks Monterey was created to provide a fun, educational atmosphere for all of the sustainably-minded businesses and organizations to meet and benefit from the wealth of knowledge and commitment Monterey has to local sustainability and the green economy.

Green Drinks Monterey is a member of Green Drinks International, a network of nearly 800 chapters world-wide.

Each Green Drinks event will feature local, seasonally-themed food and drinks and a prize drawing. Quarterly, a locally-based non-profit will be the recipient of the event's proceeds.

Green Drinks Monterey was founded by Environmental Relations.

Join us in celebrating the first Green Drinks event of 2012! The topic of this year's first gathering: the recent decision by the Monterey City Council to ban the use of plastic bags starting in July, 2012.  A  presentation featuring guest speaker Angela Brantley, Monterey's Solid Waste Program Manager, will commence at 6:30pm.
